This book examines briefly and simply how faith in God begins, how we experience revelation in history, in Scripture, in Christian community, in Jesus, and how we can respond to God’s call in our personal lives. Faith begins when we look beyond ourselves for meaning. This book links spirituality with an understanding of revelation and the development of belief. Guided reflection on the personal experience of the reader is central to the process of study.
The Meaning of Faith consists of six sessions; each session is designed to fit a one-and-a-half to two-hour time frame. A suggested time schedule appears in the front of the book.
